Ndfeb magnet

Ndfeb magnets can be divided into bonded Ndfeb and sintered Ndfeb. Bonding is actually injection molding, and sintering is vacuumed through high temperature heating molding. Ndfeb magnet is the permanent magnet with the strongest magnetic force at room temperature so far (the magnetic force at absolute zero is second only to holmium magnet, but the magnetic force at room temperature is far stronger than all known permanent magnets). The material grade is N35-N52; Various shapes can be processed according to specific requirements: round, square, punching, magnetic tile, magnetic bar, convex, trapezoidal, etc.; Despite these advantages, the surface is prone to rust, so some protective surface treatment is usually required: nickel plating, zinc plating, gold plating, epoxy coating, etc. The suitable ambient temperature for ordinary Ndfeb magnets is below 80 degrees, and the Curie temperature is 320~380 degrees. Mainly used in electronics, electrical appliances, packaging, motor, toys, leather goods, automotive machinery and so on.

Introduction of the magnet
Neodymium magnet (Neodymium magnet) is also known as NdFeb magnet, is a general term for strong magnet, its chemical formula is Nd2Fe14B, is a kind of artificial permanent magnet, so far at room temperature with the strongest magnetic force of the permanent magnet.
classification
Ndfeb magnets can be divided into bonded Ndfeb and sintered Ndfeb. Bonding is actually injection molding, and sintering is vacuumed through high temperature heating molding.
Material composition
It is expected that in the next 20 years, it is impossible to replace the Ndfeb magnet magnetic materials appear. The main raw materials for the production of Ndfeb magnets are rare earth metals neodymium, praseodymium, holmium, ordinary metal iron, aluminum, boron iron alloy and other rare earth raw materials.
The difference between
Ferrite magnet is a kind of metal oxide with ferromagnetism. In terms of electrical properties, the resistivity of ferrite is much larger than that of metal and alloy magnetic materials, and it also has higher dielectric properties. The magnetic properties of ferrite also show high permeability at high frequency. Therefore, ferrite has become a widely used non-metallic magnetic material in the field of high frequency and weak current. It belongs to non-metallic magnetic materials and is a composite oxide (or n-ferrate) of iron trioxide and one or more other metal oxides. The magnetic force is usually 800-1000 Gauss, often used in speakers, horns and other instruments.
The advantages of Ndfeb magnets are high cost performance and good mechanical properties; The deficiency lies in Curie's low temperature point, poor temperature characteristics, and easy to powder corrosion. It must be improved by adjusting its chemical composition and adopting surface treatment methods to meet the requirements of practical application. Ndfeb belongs to the third generation of rare earth permanent magnet materials. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight and strong magnetism. It is the magnet with the best performance ratio at present, and is known as Magneto in the field of magnetism. The advantages of high energy density make Ndfeb permanent magnet materials widely used in modern industry and electronic technology. In the bare magnetic state, the magnetic force can reach about 3500 Gauss.
The market value
The core technology of Ndfeb magnet industry is mainly reflected in the manufacturing process, specifically reflected in the uniformity of its products, consistency, processing quality, coating quality and other aspects.
Marketing purposes
As the third generation of rare earth permanent magnet, ndfeb magnet with high performance, its wide application in energy, transportation, machinery, medical, IT, home appliances and other industries, especially with the development of information technology represented by knowledge economy, to functional materials such as rare earth permanent magnet ndfeb industry constantly bring new USES, IT brings a more broad market prospect for ndfeb industry.
Ndfeb magnets are tetragonal crystals formed by neodymium, iron and boron (Nd2Fe14B). In 1982, Masato Sagawa of Sumitomo Special Metals discovered neodymium magnets. The magnetic energy product (BHmax) of this magnet is greater than that of samarium cobalt magnet, and it is the largest magnetic energy product of any substance in the world. [24] Later, Sumitomo developed a powder metallurgy process for special metals, and General Motors developed melt-smelting process, able to produce Ndfeb magnets. [25] This magnet is the most powerful permanent magnet available today and the most commonly used rare earth magnet. It is widely used in electronics such as hard drives, mobile phones, headphones and battery-powered tools.
In order to avoid corrosion damage, it is necessary to do protective treatment on the surface of the permanent magnet material, such as electroplating with gold, nickel, zinc and tin, and spraying epoxy resin on the surface. [26] Medical effects
Ndfeb is the national 863 project project high-tech materials, belong to the high-end rare earth materials. In medical treatment, Ndfeb has been widely used in physical magnetic therapy.
Range of application
The application range of NdFeb magnet is as follows:
Electroacoustic field: loudspeaker, receiver, microphone, alarm, stage audio, car audio, etc.
Electronic appliances: vacuum circuit breaker with permanent magnet mechanism, magnetic holding relay, watt-hour meter, water meter, sound meter, reed tube, sensor, etc.
Motor field :VCM, CDDVD-ROM, generator, motor, servo motor, micro motor, motor, vibration motor, etc.
Mechanical equipment: magnetic separation, magnetic separator, magnetic crane, magnetic machinery, etc.
Medical care: nuclear magnetic resonance instrument, medical instruments, magnetic therapy health care products, magnetized oil saving device, etc.
Other INDUSTRIES: MAGNEtized WAX PREVENTION DEVICE, PIPE cleaner, MAGNETIC clamp, automatic MAHJONG machine, magnetic lock, doors AND Windows, stationery, luggage, leather goods, toys, tools, magnetic, craft gift packaging, etc.
The third generation of rare earth permanent magnet Ndfeb is the most powerful permanent magnet in the contemporary magnet. Its BHmax value is 5-12 times of ferrite magnet, is 3-10 times of aluminum nickel-cobalt magnet; Its coercivity is equivalent to 5-10 times that of ferrite magnets and 5-15 times that of aluminum nickel-cobalt magnets. Its potential magnetic properties are extremely high, and it can suck up a weight equal to 640 times its own weight.
Because the main raw material of Ndfeb magnets, iron, is very cheap, rare earth neodymium storage is 10-16 times more than samarium, so its price is also much lower than samarium cobalt magnets.
Ndfeb magnet has better mechanical properties than samarium cobalt magnet and Al nickel-cobalt magnet. It is easier to cut, drill and process complex shapes.
The disadvantage of Ndfeb magnet is that its temperature performance is not good, the use of magnetic loss at high temperature, the highest working temperature is low. Generally about 80 degrees Celsius, after special treatment of the magnet, its highest operating temperature can reach 200 degrees Celsius.
Because the material contains a large amount of neodymium and iron, it is easy to rust is also a major weakness. So NdFeb magnets must be surface coating treatment. It can electroplate nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), gold (Au), chromium (Cr), Epoxy resin and so on.
Ndfeb magnets are widely used in aerospace, electronics, electromechanical, instrumentation, medical and other fields. And the non-technical fields are also more and more widely used, such as adsorption magnets, toys, jewelry and so on.
